How do we keep school-aged girls interested in careers in IT?

Last year I was privileged to be invited to Otago Polytech’s pre-graduation ceremony for their BIT programme and I love attending this kind of event. The sense of achievement shimmers in the air and the opportunities for the young (and some not quite so young) fill me with an enduring happiness. Welcome! – What’s next? Thoughts on managing talent – with honest conversations

I always feel a little smug when I’m reading a business book that resonates with my philosophy. Today’s case in point is The Alliance – managing talent in the networked age by Reid Hoffman, Ben Casnocha and Chris Yeh.
