National Practice Lead, Data Insights

Intergen seeks an awesome National Practice Lead, Data Insights to join our Enterprise Solutions Team!

The Role
As the National Practice Lead, Data Insights you will take responsibility for driving growth at the Practice level across our four offices in New Zealand, by implementing relevant strategy, providing mentoring and support to the team and along with thought leadership in the Data Insights space. You will also:

  • Lead and deliver a wide range of data-focused solutions from data warehouse, big data, IOT, reporting and advanced analytics across the Microsoft on-premise and Azure environment.
  • Work across a wide range of projects from greenfield projects, building solutions from the ground up, to cutting edge, to brownfield projects.
  • Establish and maintain influential customer, supplier and partner relationships
  • Absorb and translate highly complex information and communicate this effectively
  • Act as PMO liaison and ensure effective collaboration between delivery teams and key     
    stakeholders
  • Work proactively with other leads and the Practice Manager to manage business capability and capacity and ensure this is aligned with current needs, ensure target utilization is achieved
  • Input to cost budgeting, financial forecasting and performance management

The Experience:
Ideally you will have worked a similar position before and possess the following skills and attributes:

  • 5+ years experience in a similar role
  • Team management and people leadership including recruitment, capacity and capability planning and individual professional development
  • Experience providing input to commercials, budget management and utilisation planning
  • Technical leadership Data-related technologies, ideally across the Microsoft stack.
  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies such as Scrum
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and or appropriate industry certifications/experience
