Your Role 

As our newest Platform Manager you’ll traverse both the technical and non-technical worlds of process and communication, interfacing with multiple stakeholders, maintaining a steady balance of priorities to deliver to expectations.

You will take responsibility for managing world-class full-stack platforms that must deliver to current client expectations whilst continuing to evolve with both its existing technologies and future roadmap. This means managing assurance of the technical and operational performance of the platform as well as preparing for and managing change. You play a key part in ensuring the business and security aspects of platform operations are where they need to be.

Your experience:
  
This role requires the timely and considered application of technical, operational and business skills. Your background demonstrates achievement and willingness to shape and advance initiatives. You might be an experienced IT operations professional looking for a career step into a role of varying challenge, or maybe a technical specialist or manager seeking to develop your business and leadership skills
Your interest in cloud technologies is coupled with a solid background in some, if not all, of:

  • Applications and infrastructure management
  • Demonstrable technical experience in a complex operational environment, preferably Microsoft
  • Experience in SDLC and associated environment control and management processes
  • Service Management best practices
  • Strong technical leadership and influencing skills; face to face and across virtual teams
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a range of people including senior stakeholders and technical team members
  • Awareness of NZISM and other security standards
  • Awareness of ITIL processes
