The Role
As a Practice Lead, Modern Applications you will take responsibility for driving growth in the Auckland region by implementing highly innovative solutions for some of New Zealand’s biggest clients and for Microsoft HQ in Seattle. The Practice Lead role is very strategic and requires a strong mix of people, business and technical skills.
  
You will mentor and lead a large Auckland-based team, help run business operations, form trusted relationships with clients, take new IP-based solutions to market, work closely with Microsoft and other partners, perform solution architecture and technical presales, and help shape and deliver complex Cloud-based solutions for our clients.

The Experience:
Ideally you will have worked a similar position before and possess the following skills and attributes:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Team management and people leadership including recruitment, capacity and capability planning and individual professional development.
  • Experience providing input to commercials, budget management and utilisation planning.
  • Technical leadership in .Net and other Microsoft Technologies at a Solution Architect level.
  • In-depth experience developing bespoke software in a range of development languages, frameworks, technologies and environments.
  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies such as SCRUM is advantageous.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and or appropriate industry certifications/experience
