The Role:

As a Senior SharePoint Developer within our Cloud Platform and Application Services Team, you will provide objective advice, expertise and specialist skills in SharePoint 2013, 2016 and Office 365.  You will provide leadership and expertise for specific programmes of work. You have superior knowledge of Information Management practices and deep expertise in a range of technology specialisations, technology and business trends.

  • Work with our clients to analyse and define business requirements and scope
  • Facilitation of analysis and design workshops, if needed
  • Document and communicate client requirements
  • Take ownership for the implementation, configuration and delivery of Office 365 and SharePoint changes
  • Implement changes using SharePoint 2013, 2016, SharePoint Online and Office 365 and in on-premises, hybrid and cloud only configurations
  • Encourage employee engagement by continuing to develop and mentor technical specialists
  • Advocate collaboration and knowledge sharing plus foster innovation and change
  • Promote a high-performance culture within the team, focusing on consulting and delivery excellence
  • Provide client support and relationship management
  • Participate in pre-sales presentations and demonstrations in conjunction with the sales team plus providing input for Request for Proposals and Request for Information.   

The Person
As the Senior SharePoint Developer, you will be someone with leadership qualities who proactively seeks effective approaches to tasks and problems and sets a high professional standard for themselves and others.
   
What you need to be successful:

  • 5+ years consulting and implementation experience in Microsoft productivity products 
  • Superior knowledge of Information Management practices and industry trends
  • Superior knowledge of SharePoint 2013, SharePoint 2016, SharePoint Online and O365
  • Mandatory previous experience in Office 365, including services outside of SharePoint Online, specifically PowerApps, Flow, Teams and Azure Functions
  • Highly desirable previous experience in Azure and Web Development (Javascript and C#)
  • Desirable previous experience in ECM Platforms such as the AvePoint product suite and RecordPoint or Records365
  • Desirable, previous experience in Business Process Automation tools such as K2 or Nintex
  • Strong consulting capabilities, stakeholder management and customer focused approach
  • Experience in the pre-sales process, including gathering user requirements, solution design, customer presentations and workshops
  •  MCSA Office 365, MCSD: SharePoint Applications and/or other industry certifications to back up experience
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Previous project and technical leadership experience  
  • A high level of trust and integrity, a passion for technology and a sense of humour!
