Intergen joins “companies to watch” list in 2013 TIN100 Report

31 October 2013

Released in late October, the ninth annual TIN100 report ranked Intergen in 32nd place in the list of New Zealand’s top 100 ICT companies, based on each organisation’s annual revenue.

This result sees Intergen up nine places on last year’s ranking, with revenue growth of 13 million, to $56 million, in 2013. Intergen also ranked sixth in the TIN100 “top 10 companies to watch” list, based on companies’ year-on-year revenue growth.

Providing an annual analysis of New Zealand’s largest globally-focused companies in the high-tech manufacturing, biotech and ICT sectors, this year’s TIN100 Report found that overall TIN100 ICT revenue grew by 16.5%. This growth was largely attributed to the success of ICT companies who “enjoyed great success in Australia and the United States,” said Greg Shanahan, publisher of the report.

“It is extremely encouraging to see this level of growth and innovation in New Zealand’s ICT sector,” says Tony Stewart, Intergen’s Chief Executive Officer. “For Intergen, personally, our revenue growth, and our corresponding TIN100 ranking, tells us we are meeting the needs of our clients, and that there is strong – and growing – demand for the services we provide and the new innovations we invest in,” he says.

“It’s also very interesting to note that this year’s sector growth is in large part due to success in Australian and United States markets, and this is true of Intergen’s own experience. Our physical presence across Australia and in Seattle, as well as the additional services we export to these places from within New Zealand, are a strong factor in our revenue growth; and we now generate more than a quarter of our total revenue outside of New Zealand.”
