Intergen Leads Major IT Upgrade at Public Trust

Wellington, 12 May 2014 - New Integrated Technology Suite will Support Future Innovation with Online and Mobile.

Wellington, 12 May 2014 – Intergen is to upgrade all core IT systems at the Public Trust as part of a substantial business transformation programme to improve the customer experience and enable future growth at New Zealand's largest provider of wills and estate administration services. 

The two year project will result in the Public Trust increasing the level of engagement with customers throughout their lives, responding to expectations that instruments like wills can be more easily updated as personal circumstances change.

Intergen has the role of systems integrator which encompasses the design, build, test and deployment activities of the technology stream. X4 Consulting, Intergen’s business consulting arm, will also provide support in the areas of programme management, business analysis and change management.

Improved self service options made possible for existing products will include updating a will or adding an executor to an estate. “The Public Trust is transforming its operations so we can grow and continue to be a part of important financial decisions and personal milestones in New Zealanders’ lives. As part of the replacement of legacy IT systems, new business applications will be introduced for finance, CRM, Enterprise Content Management (ECM), data warehousing, mobility, and business intelligence and analytics.  Alongside a number of Microsoft applications, Intergen will deploy its own Enterprise Content Management application called Cohesion, developed for use in the All of Government ECM panel.
