Intergen continues sponsorship of ANZ Championship umpires.

For the second year in a three-year partnership, information technology services company Intergen is sponsoring the umpires in the ANZ Championship.

ANZ Championship General Manager Andrew Crook says he is extremely grateful for Intergen’s continued support of the Championship.

“It is fantastic to have Intergen’s ongoing backing of the ANZ Championship umpires. Intergen is our information technology services expert and we are thrilled to have their support of the ANZ Championship in both New Zealand and Australia. Each year as part of our strategic goals, the ANZ Championship actively looks to develop and improve the professional structures for its officials and the investment from Intergen is integral to achieving those goals.” he said.

Intergen CEO, Tony Stewart, says Intergen is delighted to be able to offer its continued support to the ANZ Championship. “Plus we see a lot of synergies between the game of netball and the technology industry – with both being fast-paced, adrenalin charged and fun to watch – as well as with our own values as a company, where we strive for values like professionalism, integrity and being the very best at what we do. As a company with strong growth on both sides of the Tasman, sponsoring the ANZ Championship umpires makes perfect sense to us given the sport’s great exposure in both countries.

“We look forward to another action-packed year and the friendly rivalry between our New Zealand and Australian offices as we follow the Championship’s progress.”

The ANZ Championship features some of the world’s best netballers over 14 rounds of home and away matches, followed by the fiercely contested Finals Series. The ANZ Championship begins on 24 March.
