Intergen client Westland Milk Products already implementing Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Microsoft has just released its latest ERP solution, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, for general availability today. Local Microsoft partner Intergen predicts the solution’s flexibility will see many Kiwi businesses adopt it as their enterprise resource planning platform, particularly with its ability to embrace changing business operations.

Intergen client Westland Milk Products has already begun implementing Dynamics AX 2012 as the best ERP platform for their business. Intergen had been working with Westland to review their needs for some time and already the productivity benefits of implementing Dynamics AX 2012 are becoming clear.

Darren Wilson of Westland Milk Products explains Westland’s choice: “We intend on implementing Process Industries for Dynamics AX 2012, and have entered the design phase for this. We evaluated our options and an upgrade to Dynamics AX 2012 was the ideal all-in-one solution for our process manufacturing, product traceability and wireless warehousing needs.”

James Page, Intergen’s Microsoft Dynamics Practice Principal, says several other Intergen clients are expecting to upgrade their ERP systems.  “Intergen had early access to Dynamics AX 2012 since start of this year through Microsoft’s exclusive Technology Adoption Programme.  That meant we’ve been able to work with clients well in advance to identify business cases where there are clear benefits for the upgrade.”

Intergen is also the only New Zealand Microsoft Partner in the 2011 Inner Circle, a group of the most strategic Microsoft Dynamics partners worldwide.

“A particular strength of AX 2012 is its flexibility and future proofing.  Dynamics AX 2012 accommodates business change through is flexible and adaptive architecture, ensuring change is a configuration activity rather than customisation.  Being consistent with other popular Microsoft solutions and user interfaces makes user adoption so much easier too.”

Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 offers a powerful foundation for a broad range of industries including purpose-built solutions for five core verticals: manufacturing, distribution, retail, services, and public sector.  The solution offers comprehensive core ERP functionality for a wide spectrum of processes such as financial management and compliance through to human resources and advanced supply chain management.

Dynamics AX 2012 has been designed for agility, enabling organisations to adapt quickly to change, expand into new markets and develop innovative products and services. It offers businesses simplicity by leveraging a familiar Microsoft user interface.

Intergen is once again hosting its highly successful Dynamics Day conference, and this year will be featuring Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 as a key solution. The free conference, being held at Auckland’s Rendezvous Hotel on Wednesday 10 August, will give New Zealand businesses the chance to take an in depth look at the new features of Dynamics AX 2012 and discover the benefits that it could bring to their business. Intergen has already received over 200 registrations for the event.

Microsoft Asia Pacific Director Rajeepan Raguneethan and Microsoft New Zealand Managing Director Paul Muckleston will lead the event’s keynote presentation, looking at how ERP tools are adapting to evolving business trends.

Limited spaces are still available for the Dynamics Day conference. To register visit www.intergen.co.nz/dynamicsday.
