Michael Morgan joins Intergen Business Solutions board

Intergen today announced the appointment of Michael Morgan to the Intergen Business Solutions Board, governing Intergen’s Australian operation.

Morgan was appointed to the role of Country Manager Australia in September 2012, and now takes on the role of Managing Director Australia. His appointment comes as the result of strong growth and numerous project successes since joining Intergen, and in recognition of the significance of Intergen’s Australian operation to the company as a whole.

Intergen CEO, Tony Stewart, says, “We’re extremely pleased to welcome Michael to the Board, and to have someone of his calibre bringing his experience to the leadership and direction of Intergen Australia. While we have had extremely high expectations and ambitions since we began expanding our presence in Australia several years ago, we could not have anticipated the success we have experienced in Australia since appointing Michael to the role of Country Manager seven months ago.

Morgan joins Intergen Business Solutions Board members Tony Stewart, Wayne Forgesson, Simon Bright, Paddy Payne, Chris Auld and Chairman Richard Westlake.

About Michael Morgan

A veteran of the Australian IT sector, Morgan has more than 20 years’ experience in the technology sector, having worked for high profile companies domestically and in Europe. Before joining Intergen, Morgan served as Executive General Manager for consulting technology firm, Oakton, where he spent the last seven years. In this role, Morgan was responsible for the leadership and management of the company’s NSW business comprising over 300 employees. Prior to his time with Oakton, Morgan worked at a specialist data and systems integration company, Data Agility, and also specialised in business and technical consulting at Optus.

Morgan holds a Masters in Business Administration from Macquarie University, Sydney, and enjoys scuba diving, fishing and kayaking in his spare time.
