Awards recognise world-class work

There’s no hiding it – we were thrilled to be named Microsoft ERP Partner for the third year in a row at this year’s Microsoft Partner Awards and, on top of that, to also be named CRM Partner of the Year.

Intergen has been crowned winner in the tightly contested ERP and CRM categories at the annual Microsoft Partner Awards.

The awards celebrate top Microsoft partners who are creatively solving customer challenges and Intergen CEO Simon Bright says the wins are a testament to the great work Intergen is doing for clients across New Zealand.

The projects behind those two wins were both exciting challenges. The ERP Partner Award came from a NZ Oil & Gas integration project on the back of strong company growth and more complex reporting requirements. We helped NZOG put a Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 solution in place, coupled with Intergen’s InSure AX Accelerator – and did it quickly, with little disruption to their day-to-day business.

The result is a more automated and efficient business, smoother JV project management, smarter financial management, and better procurement functions. One of the big benefits is that NZOG’s finance team has been freed up to focus more on value added business support and advice.

“We’re especially delighted to win the ERP Partner of the Year award for the third year in a row,” Simon says. “The project we delivered for NZ Oil & Gas is a world class FMIS solution that seamlessly marries the complexity of an international business with its joint venture requirements.”

Andre Gaylard, NZ Oil & Gas CFO, calls the result “a high quality outcome, giving us a vastly improved accounting system and delivered in a short timeframe, in scope and on budget”.

Automation also underpinned the CRM solution we delivered for PGG Wrightson, one of the country’s leading agricultural suppliers. With most interactions happening between field representatives and farmers, PGG Wrightson needed a modern, mobile solution to capture and deliver key information that had previously been recorded in the company’s famous “blue books”.

We took that idea and updated it with “Blue Note”, a Windows 8.1 and CRM 2011 tablet-based app. The result is a system that lets information flow in both directions quickly and easily, saving field reps hours of time each week, and leaving customers delighted. It also means PGG Wrightson has a deeper understanding of its customers, as information comes directly from conversations between reps and farmers in something approaching real time.

Intergen is one of the largest and longest serving dedicated providers of Microsoft-based solutions in New Zealand. It has received Microsoft Partner awards in seven of the past eight years, and has been overall Partner of the Year three times.
