Intergen at the NZ Retail Show

Intergen had a strong presence at the inaugural NZ Retail Show, held at the ASB Showgrounds on 6-7 April. Targeted at the country’s retailers, and timed to coincide with the National Retail Conference run by the Retail Association, this was an ideal opportunity to talk to the country’s retailers and understand their needs.

We partnered with Microsoft and Positive Retail IT and collectively we highlighted the range of Microsoft Dynamics solutions. The breadth of offerings in this range ensures there are options for organisations of all sizes; at the event Intergen focused on demonstrating the power of Microsoft Dynamics AX for Retail and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

It’s no secret that the retail industry has its challenges at the moment, with the state of the economy and the impact of the Christchurch earthquake creating uncertainty. Despite these challenges, we observed many retailers who were keen to learn more about the newer technologies and the ways in which they could embrace the channels at their disposal – offline and online – to grow their businesses and better serve their customers.

These themes were reiterated in the workshops that we ran at the Show. Our Web Strategy for Retail workshops were well attended, where retailers were shown how to approach how they use their websites and other channels. Our workshops on Mobile CRM explained how mobile technologies could be used to get more accurate information on customers and their behaviours, using the power of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Windows Phone 7.
