Supporting the first New Zealand SharePoint Community Conference

Three of the SharePoint community volunteer coordinators (myself included) have put together the first dedicated SharePoint conference in New Zealand or Australia in over two years. Using our community contacts, we have secured a great line up of national and international speakers to share their knowledge and experience with SharePoint, including an entire track devoted to voice of the customer case studies about successful implementations of SharePoint in New Zealand and Australia. We highly recommend you take this opportunity for you and your staff and attend this two day event in Wellington on 2 and 3 July.

Intergen has long been an active corporate supporter and sponsor of the Microsoft community and its activities providing hosting services, meeting space and encouraging Intergen employees to get involved in community events and activities such as TechED and User Groups. The SharePoint community is currently very active throughout New Zealand, with monthly user groups in Auckland, Tauranga, Napier, Wellington and Christchurch. These user groups – and the SharePoint community – are coordinated by volunteers from within the community who are passionate about sharing knowledge and experience to help everyone get the most out of SharePoint.
