Dynamics Day 2012

Dynamics Day 2012 is over for another year. It was the fourth time Intergen has run the event, and was more successful than ever. After months of preparation it was great to finally network with our valued clients and potential future customers and share some of our business expertise and insights. A big thank you to everyone who made it. We had over 160 attendees and 17 sessions jam-packed with the latest on all things Microsoft Dynamics.

Our guest speaker, Craig Dewar, Director of Product Management for Microsoft Dynamics CRM at Microsoft Corporation, kicked off the day showing us the capabilities of Windows 8 and revealing the shiny new Surface tablet everyone has been waiting to see. New Zealand business journalist Rod Oram, New Zealand wrapped up the day with some interesting economic insights into the data-driven business. For more on these presentations – and the rest of the day’s sessions – you can check out the presentation slides on our website.

Everyone was kept entertained throughout the day even if they weren’t attending sessions. This year we had an Experience Lounge filled with Microsoft toys and the latest tech gadgets including the long awaited Surface, and FaceCake – a virtual wardrobe Bloomingdales have just bought, and a Samsung SUR40.

Congratulations to Ben Tarrant who won a Surface tablet, one of the first Surface owners in the country!

If you missed out on Dynamics Day, presentation slides are available on our website – content will be updated regularly over the coming week.  And, of course, there’s always next year.

Some comments from attendees:

"Very professional event, excellent speakers, well organised, better than many ‘paid’ conferences. Nice work."

"Great networking opportunity. Good to get a glimpse of the future of the product AX, plus the future UI’s from Microsoft."

"Extremely useful to have access to Intergen experts to discuss potential solutions to real life issues."

"Sessions were great, not too long so easy to hold concentration. Speakers all excellent & pitched at a level easy to understand for non computer people."

Overall, Dynamics Day 2012 is a great chance for us to get together with our partners, Microsoft, clients and other experts to create New Zealand’s leading event for users of Microsoft Dynamics. We look forward to doing it all again next year!
