Celebrating Kiwi creativity of a different kind – getting behind this year’s NZ Art Show

At Intergen we think and talk about creativity a lot in the context of finding new and innovative creative solutions for organisations. We apply creative thinking to find new ways to solve old problems. These days all businesses are digital businesses – or are fast on the journey to becoming digital. And that’s where our own special brand of creativity comes in.

NZ Art Show 2017

It’s our job to imagine (and then create an achievable plan for) this future for the organisations we work with; to explore the art of the possible and join the gaps between where an organisation is now and where it can get to through digital transformation.

The technologies themselves may evolve at pace but the one constant is the creative thinking underpinning the application of these technologies in new and exciting ways. Without this creativity the technology itself is just technology: an untouched palate of colours waiting to be applied to an as-yet unimagined ‘masterpiece’.

So, in appreciation of the value of creativity in all facets of life, not just of the technological variety, this year we’re doing something a little bit different – shifting our focus from the screen to the frame, as it were – and getting behind the NZ Art Show as gold sponsors.

We’re very proud to be connected with the NZ Art Show, “New Zealand’s best one-stop shop for original New Zealand art”. It’s a real honour for us to be supporting such a large-scale celebration of Kiwi creativity and originality.

To be held in Wellington’s TSB Arena over Queen’s Birthday Weekend (2 – 5th June), the show will features thousands of artworks by hundreds of New Zealand artists, from the emerging to the established. Along with a dynamic and thought-provoking atmosphere to help you relax into a creatively-charged long weekend, if you’re in the mood for a spot of art shopping, the event promises the chance to find something original, something Kiwi, something inspiring and something affordable to bring creativity to your walls.

If you’re in Wellington over Queen’s Birthday Weekend, make sure you add it to your list of long-weekend things to do. Even better, if you’d like to be in to win a double pass to the show, leave us a message below or email events@intergen.co.nz before 12 noon on Friday 19 May, and we’ll put your name in the draw, with all ticket winners to be announced on Monday 22 May.
