Implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations

Jason Morris, CFO, Genetic Technologies (GT) talks to Intergen’s Client Director, Raewyn Walker about their decision to upgrade from Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 to the cloud-based Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations and how they intend to take the solution to the next level.

GT is a family-owned New Zealand business. The company is the exclusive producer and distributor for the Pioneer range of agricultural seeds locally and in Australia, employing some 150 staff across both countries and has, since 2010, run the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 ERP solution separately in each country.

In this short video Jason discusses their main drivers behind the decision to upgrade, how they are getting on with the benefit realisation from Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, the process of aligning their New Zealand and Australian businessesas part of this technology consolidation project and what’s next for GT.

Jason also touches on the important factors in choosing an IT provider to partner with; including strategic input, proactivity and having the right fit to deliver to their longer term needs. You can also read the Genetic Technologies case study here.
