Azure Consultant (Infrastructure/Operations)


Our Azure Consultant will be a key member of our Modern Workplace team, lending critical support to key client engagements in Perth

The Role
Empired is one of the Largest Microsoft Modern Work Partners in the APAC and our Perth-based Modern Workplace team is rapidly expanding. Our Azure Consultant will join our team as we are poised to grow our Azure capability. You will function alongside our Modern Workplace team in assisting and providing support to a number of our managed service customers. You will be exposed to new and exciting technologies in this role and enable clients to succeed and embrace technology best practices. 

You will
  • Assist in the delivery of Azure projects whilst researching new and emerging technologies
  • Follow documented ServiceNow incident and problem management procedures
  • Investigate and troubleshoot Azure incidents in a timely manner
  • Ensure a high level of IT security and compliance is maintained at all times
  • Asset, user account, and software licensing management and configuration
  • Create Azure infrastructure reports and documentation to streamline processes
  • Perform day-to-day monitoring tasks on Azure system health and proactively resolve issues as they occur.
About you

You will have
  • 5 – 8+ years of experience, with at least 2 years of technical experience in supporting Azure infrastructure           
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Passion for quality delivery and technology
  • Understanding Azure technology platforms, usage, maintenance, and support would be a benefit
  • Self-motivation and drive to manage support tickets to stay within the agreed SLAs
  • Azure certification (highly desirable)
