The Role
Intergen’s Platform team are looking for a passionate, talented DevOps Infrastructure Engineer to join a successful platforms practice. You'll be working with Intergen’s valued customers, alongside an accomplished, supportive team in a collaborative atmosphere.

You will be:
  • Supporting the Cloud Infrastructure team who perform configuration and migration plus on-going support and administration of multiple Azure Cloud environments
  • Being an accelerator for Development and maintenance of process automation, nurturing and leading more DevOps ways of working across our team
  • Enabling application migration, modernization, and innovation at enterprise-scale in Azure
  • Evolving our proactive monitoring, issue resolution and request management, while ensuring quality delivery and best practice is applied.

Have you got?
  • A natural drive for automation
  • Expected specialisation in some of the following: Azure DevOps, Azure Functions/Logic Apps, deployment CI pipeline creation and enhancement, ARM templates, Bicep, Azure Blueprints and scripting to support automation efforts (PowerShell/Bash),
  • Strong experience with Azure Cloud - Azure IaaS and PaaS, including: Azure Portal, CLI, Key Vault, Azure Workbooks
  • Azure landing zone architecture knowledge
  • Strong experience and currently working with Hybrid IT infrastructure
  • Preferably experience with traditional Microsoft infrastructure deployment and operational support experience
  • Experience supporting Linux server administration and patching
  • Able to assist with the overall architecture and infrastructure around availability, scalability, monitoring, security, performance, etc.
  • An understanding of NoSQL and in-memory data stores
  • ITIL Foundations v3/4 Certification
  • Experience with Source control tools such as Git, CI and build tools, Deployment automation frameworks or Containerisation
  • Strong Networking skills (on-premise and Azure cloud) with experience in Design/Architecture
