Digital Ops Developer


Intergen seeks a Digital Ops Developer to join our Modern Work and Digital Operations Team.

The Role 
As a Developer in the Modern Work and Digital Operations team located in one of our major centres, your role is to build in-depth knowledge of supported solutions and provide operational support to your customers. You’ll handle defects and enhancements, maintain applications and resolve incidents and requests. You will research, design, document and modify software specifications throughout the applications lifecycle. There will be elements of Devops. 
  • Ensuring quality delivery by applying appropriate coding techniques, practices and frameworks that align to Intergen delivery practices. 
  • Delivering customer value with fit for purpose solutions and accurate cost estimates 
  • Providing operational support within agreed timeframes 
  • Maintaining good working relationships with your customers, your team and people in the wider business 
  • Working onsite at customer premises as required 
  • Helping more junior members of the team to follow best practice standards and as an escalation point 
  • Identifying operational issues and risks and escalating as required. You'll provide recommendations and solutions to resolve issues and mitigate risks. 
  • Contributing to and show leadership in the development, configuration and implementation of agreed solutions. Work with peers and customers to ensure successful delivery. 
  • Contributing to early solution design artefacts to ensure that required non-functional requirements are considered and implemented where required. 
The Person 
This role would suit someone with the following skills and experience: 
  • Understand Structured Development and Implementation Methodologies/Techniques such as Waterfall, RAD, Iterative and SCRUM. 
  • Languages: C#, Javascript, SQL, Powershell, HTML, CSS, Typescript 
  • Foundation Technologies: Azure Dev Ops, Visual Studio, Internet Information Services, SQL Server (including SSIS, SSRS), Microsoft .Net Framework, ASP.Net, Xamarin, MCV, Web forms, WCF, Entity framework, Windows services 
  • One or more of the following relevant technologies: Power BI, .Net, SSAS, EPiServer. 
  • 3-4 years relevant working experience as a developer. Strong familiarity of the tools and methodologies listed above. 
Ability to clear for high-security Government organisations is advantageous:  
  • Citizen or permanent NZ resident  
  • NZSIS ‘Confidential’ clearance  
  • Subject to drug testing
