Dynamics 365 - Business Central Consultant (Operations)


Join our A/NZ Business Applications Operations team as our newest Consultant.

The Role
As a Functional Consultant within our Business Applications team you’ll take ownership for the implementation, configuration, and delivery of Dynamics D365 BC (and Dynamics NAV where relevant) ongoing support for our outstanding business solutions. You'll work in partnership with our clients, advising them how to use Business Central to meet their business objectives within agreed timelines. You’ll gain a deep understanding of our client’s organisation to ensure successful delivery and have opportunities to suggest ways to enhance their business by improving their existing solutions.

This role reports to the A/NZ Operations Practice Lead based in Australia and with the opportunity to work with a team based in multiple locations across Australia and New Zealand.

You will have:
  • Great experience in collaboration with the Team of top experts in D365 BC 
  • Extensive commercial experience in installation, configuration and delivery of Dynamics D365 BC solutions (standard, customised with Extensions, and integrated), along with some experience or desire to drive value with the Power Platform (incl. Power Apps, Logic Apps, PowerBI);
  • Experience from presales to final delivery; ensuring that each element of solution is properly scoped, designed, implemented and functionally tested to meet our client's business needs.
  • Confidence working directly with clients (remotely or on-site), and aptitude for gaining a thorough understanding of their vision will be huge strengths.
  • Demonstrated experience in a support environment – incident management, release management & change management will be familiar terms to you
  • Be an expert trouble shooter with great problem solving skills and love getting your teeth stuck into puzzles
  • Experience in estimating BC services, capturing scope & requirements, writing user stories and development specifications
  • Manage and develop customer relationships and perceptions to achieve mutual goals
  • A hunger for knowledge with the passion to learn about the latest innovations in the industry (and multiple industries representing Clients’ breadth), which you will enjoy sharing with the wider team.
