Empired's Networks team are looking for a passionate, talented Network Team Lead to join a successful practice. You will be a hands-on technical Lead, managing the day-to-day operations within the network and security teams including queue management, continuous improvement, and ensuring adherence to customer guidelines for incident, problem, and change management for one of our valued customers.

Empired's Networks team are looking for a passionate, talented Network Team Lead to join a successful practice. You will be a hands-on technical Lead, managing the day-to-day operations within the network and security teams including queue management, continuous improvement, and ensuring adherence to customer guidelines for incident, problem, and change management for one of our valued customers.

- Experience leading teams in a busy technical environment
- Demonstrated experience in creating and driving reporting mechanisms
- Experience managing customer demands to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and maintaining quality of work
- Experience driving enhancement of service standards and delivery
- Experience in a large corporate environment & working with data centre concepts
- Demonstrated experience driving continuous improvement and security initiatives
- Excellent problem-solving skills and conflict resolution
- Solid implementation and documentation skills
- Experience mentoring staff to achieve their potential
- ITIL foundations v3 certified
- Cisco CCNP certified, CCIE preferred
- 802.1x experience
- Checkpoint certification CCSA/CCSE Or Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE
- Cisco ACI experience, certification preferred
- Experience in VPN solutions
- Understanding Security concepts
- F5 experience
- Riverbed experience
- Wireless and/or voice experience/certification would be well received
- SD-WAN/SDN experience
- Juniper/Fortinet knowledge (multiple firewalls and a distributed deployment)
- Symantec/McAfee management
- Vulnerability management solution experience
