Regional Sale Manager - Exceptional Leadership and Growth Opportunity

The Regional Sales Manager position is a key leadership role at Empired with accountability for driving the regional market engagement and business development initiatives in line with Empired’s strategic market objectives. You will achieve this by leading and motivating a high-performance sales team and being a valued member and contributor of the Empired Regional Leadership Group.

Success in this role includes:
  • Developing and implementing the regional market engagement and sales plan
  • Expanding our business into new targeted industries and new accounts whilst strategically growing existing accounts
  • Driving market penetration across our services and capabilities with increasing focus on targeting and securing large multiyear annuity business
  • Forming strong and collaborative relationships with our key technology partners
  • Working with the local business leadership to ensure client satisfaction targets are maintained
  • Developing and mentoring a high performing sales team
  • Being an active contributor to the broader Empired leadership team
 
The experience we are looking for:
  
  • 10+ years of successful IT services sales and sales team leadership experience
  • Excellent knowledge and awareness of the Victorian marketplace with particular focus around the Public Sector, Finance and Utility sectors
  • Strong understanding of the latest digital transformation technologies and service approaches and their application to transform customer businesses
  • Demonstrated experience in successful partnering and leveraging leading technology vendors such as Microsoft
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to deal with clients at C levels and down
  • Proven leadership, mentoring, commercial acumen and strategic business development capabilities
