Security and Compliance Manager (WC 18)

Are you an Experienced IT Compliance Manager with a background in Service Management and a good handle on all things Governance and Security? Read on!

The Role:
This opportunity is based in Perth and is a permanent position and requires an experienced IT Compliance Manager. This role will work within our IT Service Management (ITSM) team, with responsibility for managing the operational teams, management and leadership to ensure they achieve contractual Security and Governance compliance.
In collaboration with the ITSM Manager, you will provide capability across our customers and work with the Delivery organisation, including our Service Delivery Managers, Practice Managers, Delivery Team Leaders and Delivery Teams.  The opportunity will suit a person with a background in monitoring and managing IT Operations delivery and reporting.

Working with internal and external customers and 3rd party service providers you will also be responsible for:
  • Creating a compliance framework and facilitating the recording of Compliance tracking
  • Driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the operation by actioning continuous improvement activities.
  • Ensuring delivery team maintains Compliance with Process, Governance and Security requirements
  • Producing management compliance information, including KPIs and reports, within agreed timeframes.
  • Participating in the cascading of the compliance framework within the organisation.
  • Auditing records to confirm conformance to the agreed targets and quality.
  • Managing compliance risk and recovery
  
Skills and Capabilities Required:
To be considered for the role you should have:
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Operational lead role
  • An in-depth technical IT background
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A customer focus with excellent attention to detail
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • ITIL certifications are highly desirable but not essential for the role.
