Exciting opportunity to join our Tools and Automation practice in Perth as we undertake an exciting growth phase

The opportunity
Empired's Tools and Automation team are looking for a passionate, talented Tools and Automation Team Lead to join our successful practice. You'll be working within a varied, complex delivery role across Empired's valued customers, working with an accomplished team in a collaborative atmosphere.
  
  
The Responsibilities

  • Provide Leadership to the consultants fostering strong team culture
  • Work as part of a team to implement, configure, integrate and maintain internal and client tools (ServiceNow, MicroFocus Operations Bridge, Dynatrace, Automation tools)
  • Consult with various teams and clients on the capabilities of the tools
  • Actively work to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
The Person
This role would be ideal for someone with the following skills and experience

  • Four years’ experience in a role supporting automation and monitoring solutions aligned to – experience in one or more of ServiceNow, MicroFocus Operations Bridge Suite, Dynatrace is essential
  • Experience leading a team to implement, configure, integrate and maintain internal and client Monitoring and Automation tools.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud services, operating systems, and network infrastructure
  • The ability to consult with various teams and clients on the capabilities of the tools, and actively work to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
  • Demonstrable experience in identification, implementation and benefit realization of continuous improvement opportunities
  • Experience providing out of hours 3rd level support for tools and integrated systems (this support is required from time to time and is factored into the agreed base remuneration)
  • Thorough knowledge of supported tools, both on-premise, and cloud-based
  • Experience developing Workflows and automation in conjunction with other team members and client representatives
  • Experience creating and maintaining customer reporting and supporting documentation requirements
  • Completion of ITIL v3 Foundation Certification
